In the last five years we have had the honor of being new home consultants to both major and small media sources nationwide.  Our members have often gone above and beyond in researching for journalists and others for impacting articles addressing defective new home construction. Therefore, we ask that you please give HADD members credit in your story--provide a link- anything, for their hardwork and dedication.

The issues surrounding HADD's mission are often perplexing and confusing. We ask if at all possible for journalists to submit questions in writing that pertain to dates, data etc.  This is where we are often misquoted or we simply goof.  If is no secret that Developers favor slapp suits regardless of the truth and an error would make them dizzy with pleasure.
One homeowner was sued for saying she was an "unhappy homeowner"!

Contrary to rumor, HADD is not the brain child of Trial Lawyers, nor Teamsters, but the organization and free-will of victim volunteers who all live and work out of deficient homes.  All HADD representatives have experienced deficient housing along with the pain and frustration of unresponsive builders--All our efforts as of today, are out of pocket. Being candor, yes we often work with Unions and Consumer attorneys- Because when we asked for support and help from building associations/organizations--they weren't interested.

Thank you.
